I am need to access the mirrors and don't want to break anything. How do you remove the headlight adjustment control knobs so I can remove the plastics to get to the mirrors?

Re: Front Fork control knobs
Are you talking about the Headlight adjustment knobs? There is a setscrew in them. And a nut under that. The fork dampening knobs can just stay on there.

Re: Front Fork control knobs
Be careful when you put the nut back on the plastic threaded thingy. It breaks pretty easily.

Re: Head Light adjustment knobs
I was indeed talking about headlight adjustment knobs. I was needing to get to the mirrors. It was a farkle evening as I added mirror extenders and saddle bag guards. Next free evening will have me tackling the canyon cages.

Re: Head Light adjustment knobs
It's a tad tight, but I partially remove the dash panel plastic, reach behind and unscrew the nut holding the cable to the adjusters. When reinstalling, you have to make sure the square drive cable is engaged before you get the knurled nut on all the way.
