FZR mirrors on Gen II

FZR mirrors on Gen II
I have FZR mirrors on my Gen 1 FJR and I know they came from a Gen 1 FZR. So, would it stand to reason that Gen II FZR mirrors fit the Gen II FJR? Buddy of mine that has an 07' would like to see more than his shoulders in the mirrors so I thought I'd verify here. Thanks.

i think that is a no. iirc, i bought the gen II mirrors and they did not fit... no buyers on the fzr site, either...
