dash n peg

HEY EVERYONE.
Because iv put extenders on the FJR Id like to lower gearshift peg a little lower than lowest indicator mark beside peg.
Has anyone done this, and how did it go. I can mod peg if I have to, but a little lower would be easy if it was ok.
Also has anyone changed color of their dash/clock lights, hate mine, hard to see at night, yeah im color blind.
hard to do?
