I went through the same thing coming from 13 to 16. Luckily they have a plug play harness for the 16+ now.bill lumberg wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 6:08 pm Today, I tried installing the 2016 and up, Plug and Play adapter from admore. I had their light bar on my 2014. So I ordered the new version so I could put that bar on my 2018. When I pulled the left panel, the connectors were in the same place as they were on the 2014, with the same bend. But nothing matched up with the connectors on the 2016+ admore harness. I was baffled.

I have their plug and play harness for the 16+. It doesn’t fit my 18. Shmerder.

-1, freezing rain and rain in the forecast. Somebody told me the sun came out yesterday, but I can't see outside from my desk. By the way he talks, you could have dedicated all of 2018 to him. Poor bastard. Didn't even want to come down to the southren Apps to ride with free meals and housing. Found out, hypothetically speaking, on a closed track, that TCS still can engage if one were to hit the afterburner from 90mph in a wet HOV lane. I read that in a book this morning.

Ok Bill, let's hold 'dem horses in rein just a smidge, doncha think? I mean, we wanna keep ya with us, man.
Reminds me when in 2017, I was leading Josh somewhere in Utah on a hot afternoon. We've had a full day and it was time for beer. We got stuck behind what seemed like about 10 RV's, family station wagons, and farm trucks going like 47 mph. All clear for at least a mile in the oncoming lane, so I down shift a couple of gears and light the fuse. As I pass the 10th vehicle, I glance down at the dash and I distinctly remember reading "118" in big numbers front and center. I signal right and merged with Josh right there behind me in tow. As I back down the throttle, I remember thinking....
"Man, this bike is addictive. If I were any less mature, I'd be dead right now...."

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Gixxus or Gixxes is for the GSX-S, comes in 750 or 1000 variety. The GSX-S1000 has the 2005 GSX-R1000 motor, because it produced the better torque for the low and mid range that you'd need on the street. However, instead of clipon bars like you'd find on a gixxer, it's got a nice set of motocross style fat bars to keep you sitting upright. There's also the F model that has a full fairing and windshield and is better for touring, but it will win every "Ugly Bike" contest you enter, unlike the super sexy naked model.

Gixxus..... made me look. Faired models aren't that ugly... don't know the difference betwee F and FZ, maybe just fancier paint. No cruise or saddlebags... but interesting. Price is right as Suzi's usually are.

If I recall correctly, was that the same trip that you hit the Rev Limiter as we were blasting another line of traffic?
I certainly remember you looking down at the bike like something was wrong. Then realizing I gotta shift it too. Lol. Certainly has happens to me a few times because Halle was pulling so hard.
Either way, that blast across Utah was definitely a Cannonball run of sorts. Traffic everywhere, hotter than Hades, and we were in the groove!

Today, I installed my replacement YAMAHA bag emblem. And I ordered real-time industries reflectives for the bags. May get all crazy and add an IBA decal to the real-time vinyl since it’s removable. Living on the edge.
